Welcome to standalone version of C10Pred


C10Pred is a SVM based easy to use tool for the prediction of C10 family of cysteine proteases. C10Pred was developed by using different feature sets that includes, amino acid composition, dipeptide composition, physiochemical properties, and the hybrids as an input feature. The C10Pred working module is based on optimally selected hybrid features that predicts whether a given sequence is a C10 or non-C10 protease. In addition to the prediction results, the probability scores for each prediction are also provided.


To use C10Pred as a standalone tool click Download
After download is complete, uncompress the file "C10Pred_standalone.tar.gz", e.g.
On Linux: tar -xvzf C10Pred_standalone.tar.gz
On Windows: To uncompress files with .tar.gz extension on Windows Click Here
Uncompressing the file will create a directory named "C10Pred_standalone"
Go to this directory and follow the instructions provided in the readme file
